LX and EX tool: Creating an inclusive learning experience model
Are you doing this or something like this? Do you have a framework to support a fair learning culture?
To create a learning culture, one which allows you to constantly and fairly develop talent from within, organisations need to start with building a connected learning infrastructure. This means a centralised task and skills list gleaned from every practice area and level, one which evolves as the work does. It should feed how projects are designed, how performance is evaluated, how people are recruited and what teams are trained to do.
When organisations don’t connect the tasks and skills people must actively apply in their day-to-day work (real work) to performance reviews and courses to help them improve performance, organisations cannot improve standards or be truly transparent about how people are paid and promoted.
So, get real about what skills and tasks you value and why, and how you are going to teach people to do their best.
