2 weeks, 40 watercolour and pen miniatures, 30 years of travel

As an independent consultant, I like to take a bit of a breather between contracts and use a different part of my brain to reset. This month I created 40 watercolour and pen miniatures taken from 30 years of travel, in the space of 2 weeks. They are detailed enough that they require concentration but the subject matter is also purely joyful and escapist.

When my homesickness and itchy feet couldn't take me anywhere but into my studio, I created this little diversion and a reminder to myself be grateful for what I’ve seen and hopeful for all I haven't.
