Cannes Creative Leaders Programme (CCLP) Session
It was a privilege to run a full day session with the Cannes Creative Leaders Programme at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. The session focussed on the future of work and how The Meritocracy Manifesto could play a role, before running Employee Experience (EX) workshops to help the leaders attending the session to find opportunities to improve the experience for their teams. The key themes were the concept of merit and how it is subjective, talent battlegrounds, diversity and flexibility, the changing nature of work in the creative industries and how old methods are limiting progression.
In the run up to the event, I interviewed a number of people working in marketing and the creative industries to add some additional personal insights from professionals about their feelings on the future. One of those interviews was with The Inventors Club, a new creative consulting configuration working with other professionals to deliver more advanced work in a leaner way.
