Background

In 2019, I realised that there was a tremendous amount of content emerging about contemporary employee experience (EX). However, very little focussed on the relatively unique needs of new creative configurations; designers, technologists, strategists, art directors and copywriters, which I refer to as ‘Wolf Pack Creativity’. I initiated a research project called The Future of Doing in October 2019, focussing on the workplace experiences of creative makers. I interviewed many creative makers around the world and combined forces with my strategy partner, Barry Mowszowski, and The Berlin School of Creative Leadership to convert those insights into a podcast in late 2019 and an open online course in 2020.

The course ran over 4 weeks, with 2 asynchronous modules for the students to watch at the beginning of the week and a working session over three hours on the Friday. Below is the course content in the order it needs to be seen.

Project takeaways

I converted all the students ideas into storyboards and gave them these final takeaways:

They also got access to The Berlin School community boards and new connections to work with in the future.
